If you want to join undergraduate or bachelor programs at US universities, the earlier you start, the better are your chances of making it to your dream university. Application deadlines are generally in July to September (Spring intake) and October to January (Fall intake) each year. If you want to join university in Fall semester of next year, you must apply by September of current year, that is, you have to apply at least one year in advance
